The score & recording were written and co-created for the film "Cross the bridge", which later won two national awards in Hungary.
The film focuses on the situation of Gypsy children in the Hungarian education system. The scene - a child sitting down to study for an upcoming test, while some stray dogs turn up to disturb him.
a Hungarian folk song performed by a group of children in a rural town in Hungary is played at the end of this film. At the time, it was an unintentional recording - the decision to include it in the film came during editing, as it turned out to be a perfect underscore of a ridiculous, dissonant, and hopelessly frustrating situation.
